About Flinch
Flinch is a descending-price auction that never ends. One slot, one price, falling in public until somebody takes it. Then it resets at double and starts falling again.
Why a falling price
Every other attention board works the same way: you pay, somebody pays more, your money is gone and so is your position. The tension is slow and it only rewards whoever has the deepest pockets.
A descending clock inverts that. Nobody bids against you. You are not trying to outspend anyone — you are deciding, second by second, whether the number on screen is worth it yet, knowing that the longer you wait the cheaper it gets and the more likely somebody else takes it first. That is a decision, not an arms race.
What you are buying
Attention, from people who are already looking at this page, for as long as it takes the next person to decide. Your name, one line and a link at the top of the front page, a permanent row in the public ledger, and a live count of every click you were sent.
You are not buying search rankings. Every outbound link here is rel=sponsored nofollow and always will be.
What this is not
It is not a lottery, a raffle, a draw or a wager. There is no pot and no chance element. You buy at a posted price you can see before you commit, or you pay nothing. If you close the tab it has cost you nothing at all.
Who runs it
Flinch is operated by Muddy Holdings LLC. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
